Published: December 2, 2025 Press Release

The Landmark Project, a Greenville-based brand known for its design-driven, outdoor-inspired apparel and accessories, proudly announces $294,161 in conservation and outdoor advocacy contributions in 2025. This brings the company’s lifetime giving to $1.52 million since it began this mission in 2018.

Strengthening Partnerships for Public Lands
The Landmark Project’s 2025 giving priorities focused on supporting public lands during a time of growing need. From wildfire prevention to trail maintenance and visitor education, financial contributions were allocated as follows:

“Everything we create starts with a deep love for wild places,” said Matt Moreau, Partner and Creative Director of The Landmark Project. “When we give back, we’re not just funding conservation. We’re investing in the future of the spaces that shape who we are as a brand and as people.”

Beyond Financial Support: Volunteering and Awareness
In addition to financial donations, The Landmark Project employees, affiliate partners, and community members participated in trail crew volunteer activations, river restoration events, and awareness campaigns. These efforts, amplified through the brand’s licensed artwork collections, reached millions with messages about wildfire prevention, environmental stewardship, and wildlife protection.

A standout moment in 2025 included National Forest Week, where The Landmark Project partnered with Truckee Dirt Union and the National Forest Foundation in Truckee, California to restore trails and enhance visitor access in the Tahoe National Forest.

Looking Ahead: Protecting Places That Inspire Us
The Landmark Project aims to surpass $2 million in lifetime giving by 2027 and expand volunteer opportunities nationwide. While new partnerships are in the works for 2026, the company continues to deepen collaborations with long-standing conservation partners like the U.S. Forest Service, National Forest Foundation, Leave No Trace, and National Wildlife Federation.

“Every time someone chooses The Landmark Project, whether online or at a National Park Gift shop or their local REI, they are directly supporting the places that inspire our work,” Moreau added. “Our customers, employees, and partners make this possible, and we’re excited to continue growing this community of stewardship.”
