The retail industry is expected to change more in the next five years than it has in the last 100.
The pace of change is greatly accelerated by the advancement of technology in the space. In addition, the direct to consumer model will continue to put pressure on brick and mortar stores as service expectations are being set by digital shopping experience.
Understanding and leveraging big data to personalize each customer relationship are essential keys to maximizing consumer share of wallet. In order to sustain and grow, companies must integrate these strategies into their business model.
