Hawaii's T&C Partners with PacSun

T&C, best known as a retailer, is reviving its mainland wholesale business with a new partnership with PacSun

Hawaii’s T&C has formed a multi-year partnership with PacSun to offer a clothing collection in PacSun’s stores across the country and online.

T&C, an important retailer in Hawaii with eight high-volume stores, had been searching for a way to revive its wholesale business on the Mainland.

The company used to have a wholesale operation in Costa Mesa, but exited that piece of the business in 2000, said Adam Borrello, T&C Director of International Business and Marketing.

He believes the new agreement benefits both T&C and PacSun – PacSun gets a surf lifestyle brand with a rich history and iconic logo that is not sold everywhere, and T&C gets to expose its brand in PacSun’s 600 or so stores.

PacSun has also agreed not to sell the T&C brand in its Hawaii stores, allowing T&C to carry the collection exclusively on the islands.

“It’s not an easy task to find the right partner who understands our goals and respects certain things we need as a retailer regionally,” Adam said.

A small collection, which Adam describes as fun and irreverent with references from the 80s and 90s, launches this month, with a larger offering to debut for summer. Prices for the first collection range from $24.95 to $54.95.

“We appreciate the reach and expertise of PacSun and hopefully together we can do something special,” Adam said.
