In one of the more interesting career paths after action sports that we have heard of, Luis Calderin, formerly of Burton, is now the Arts, Culture and Youth Vote Manager for Bernie Sanders, the U.S. Senator from Vermont who is running for President.
Luis, who was Burton’s Lifestyle Brand Manager, worked at Burton for three years.
He was approached by Sanders campaign, and presented a plan to Senator Sanders that he liked. Luis started last week.
“I am able to apply my action sports/lifestyle marketing experience to something with the greatest reach of all, the presidential campaign,” he said. “It’s pretty cool.”
Luis is working at the Sanders campaign headquarters in Burlington, Vermont.
