Ford Wright, Zumiez’s longtime Executive Vice President of Stores, is retiring, the company said this week.
Wright, whose age was listed as 46 on company documents last year, spent 21 years at Zumiez.
He worked his way up through a variety of store, district and regional management positions. Before joining Zumiez in 1994, Wright worked at Nordstrom.
Wright’s last day at Zumiez will be March 20. He will stay on as a consultant with the company through the end of the year.
Zumiez said it plans to promote a new senior vice president of stores from within the company.
