As we wind down what has hopefully been a successful 2014 for most of us, now is a great time to reflect on what we can do to help those less fortunate than us. If you have any excess inventory that you’d like to donate to a very worthwhile cause, Shelter Partnership does a wonderful job of distributing much needed apparel, accessories, toiletries and other consumer goods to more than 200 agencies nationally.Â
As an added benefit, if you discuss this with your accountant, you may find that any inventory donated is tax deductible, making this a true win for everyone.
