Licensed under Joint Base USA, the collection of apparel is currently available at retailers, including Urban Outfitters. Zippo Apparel debuted the line of apparel during the February 2011 Magic Trade Show in Las Vegas, the preeminent trade event in the international fashion industry.

Licensed under Joint Base USA, the collection of apparel is currently available at retailers, including Urban Outfitters. Zippo Apparel debuted the line of apparel during the February 2011 Magic Trade Show in Las Vegas, the preeminent trade event in the international fashion industry.  

 

The line of apparel, which will include tee shirts, hats, belts, denim, twill pants, shorts and jackets, fleece and woven shirts, will feature artwork and photography dating back to 1932, when the iconic Zippo lighter was invented.

 

At the helm of Zippo Apparel are industry veterans Ingrid Martin, Mary Bang, and Todd Proffit. Zippo Apparel, with leverage in its extensive designing, is selling and marketing this lifestyle apparel to the fashion forward, action sports-based consumer.

 

With a balance of a grass roots and main stream marketing approach, Zippo Apparel will penetrate the Generation Y group of individuals ages 18-34 who are trend-setting hipsters.  Zippo Apparel’s demographic will also reach a much older group than the target market by staying true to the history of the Zippo Brand, using old archives to tell the story of this one-of-a-kind brand.
