IASC board member Kelly Jablonski survives plane crash

Ultimate Distribution Chief and IASC Board Member Kelly Jablonski was seriously injured in a plane crash Thursday but survived. The pilot was killed in the crash.

We wish Kelly a very speedy recovery and hope to see him at the IASC Summit in the spring.

According to Kelly’s get well page on Facebook, he is still in ICU but has stood up on his own and may be moved from ICU soon.

Here is a statement from the Ultimate Distribution website:

“(Thursday) afternoon, Ultimate’s chief and commander Kelly Jablonski, was involved in a plane crash just outside the Vancouver airport. By the graces of those higher powers above us, Kelly survived his ordeal.

“He is now recuperating in the hospital from a broken back, smoke inhalation, and some minor burns. Being the super human that he is, he is expected to make a full recovery. Power to you Kelly from all of us at Ultimate and the whole skateboard industry.”
