10 Barrel Brewing has always been as much about encouraging outdoor recreation as it is about the care and passion infused into its brews. After launching Profuse Juice late last summer, today 10 Barrel has officially announced its partnership with the Surfrider Foundation, a non-profit committed to protecting clean water and healthy beaches, and will donate 1% of all sales from Profuse Juice.

“At 10 Barrel Brewing, we’re all about enjoying the outdoors, beer in hand, and we know that we owe a lot of our success to the support of our local communities,” said 10 Barrel Marketing Director, Andy Goggins. That’s why in 2020, 10 Barrel kicked off their new, pub-based “Drink It Forward” fundraising program for local non-profits— of which the San Diego Chapter will be a beneficiary— “and we’re stoked to have the Surfrider Foundation as one of our non-profit partners.”

In 2019, 10 Barrel launched Profuse Juice Hazy IPA, a gold medal winner in the most contested category at the 2019 North American Beer Awards. The focus of this drinkable Hazy IPA was to bring out all of the tropical juicy hop flavors while keeping the bitterness in check. Huge whirlpool additions and multiple rounds of dry hopping did the trick!

Sure to convert non-IPA drinkers, this 6.5% ABV and 45 IBU Hazy it will be available for purchase September 2019-March 2020.
