Interim CEO Mike Relich
SES has learned that PSEB, the company that operates the PacSun and Eddie Bauer retail chains, has named a new Interim CEO.
Mike Relich, most recently Chief Operating Officer, will step into the Interim CEO role, replacing Jim Gulmi.
PSEB sent us the following statement when we inquired about the leadership change.
“Jim Gulmi has transitioned to Executive Chairman of the PSEB Board. This was a personal decision by Jim driven by his desire to spend more time with his family, and the Board is in full support.”
“Chief Operating Officer Mike Relich, a 30-year retail industry veteran, has assumed the role of Interim CEO. Mike is deeply familiar with our business and operations and has been a critical member of the executive officer team, particularly as we took swift action to adjust our business and operations in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.”
“The Board is confident that the business is in great hands with Mike at the helm, supported by the Presidents of each brand, Alfred Chang at PacSun and Damien Huang at Eddie Bauer. We are also pleased we will continue to benefit from Jim’s expertise as Executive Chairman.”
