Halfdays, the women-first outdoor gear and apparel brand, opened its first-ever flagship store in Denver’s RiNo neighborhood.
The flagship will serve as an extension of Halfdays’ mission to build a welcoming outdoors for women, while shaking off the intensity of traditional outdoor brands. Made from recycled, technical materials, Halfdays gear merges technical performance with sporty, fashion-forward fits to inspire you to own the mountain. The retail location offers customers the opportunity to engage with year-round collections, from ski wear to light outerwear.

The 1,689 sq ft. retail location was designed by Toronto-based designers, Reflect Architecture, in partnership with Denver-based architects and sustainable design experts GMSHAY and commercial builder Ellipsis Construction. The signature Halfdays Butter Yellow space features modern furniture and wooden finishes.
“We started Halfdays with the mission to introduce more women to the outdoors, and our hope is that our retail space creates a welcoming environment where customers can have fun while finding the perfect fit,” said Halfdays Co-Founder Kiley McKinnon. “As an Olympic skier, I know how important it is to touch and feel the product in person, especially as our collection has grown and evolved into various flattering fits and functional materials. Our flagship store is an opportunity for us to tell our brand story and create a space where our community can connect with us in person. We’re excited to continue hosting our monthly community events and bring that energy to our retail location with fun activations.”
“When we launched Halfdays in the fall of 2020, we were 100% direct-to-consumer, but I’ve always believed in an omnichannel approach to growing the business,” said Halfdays Co-Founder and CEO Ariana Ferwerda. “Our first pop-up in Aspen, just two months after launching, was a game-changer for us. It was the first time we saw how powerful it is for people to interact with the product in person and feel the quality firsthand. That experience really opened our eyes to the impact of having a physical presence. As we’ve expanded into trail and everyday outdoor performance fashion, the launch of our retail location couldn’t come at a better time. Now, we can offer our customers a full, year-round collection, beyond ski, and provide them with even more opportunities to experience the brand in person.”
To celebrate the opening, Halfdays is offering exclusive in-store promotions:
- Bring in a Halfdays Newspaper and receive a gift with purchase of over $150. The Halfdays newspaper, featuring the Winter 2024 collection and amplifying the store opening, is distributed in Halfdays signature yellow newspaper boxes strategically placed around the RiNo neighborhood.
- First fifty customers will receive a free Halfdays Ski Club Trucker hat and 20% off their purchase.
This week, in partnership with Huckleberry Coffee Roasters, all seven Huckleberry locations in Denver feature Halfdays Yellow co-branded cups. Additionally, visitors can enjoy a special signature beverage for the week: the Halfdays Après Latte.
