Fiber-Level Innovation Meets Antarctic Testing
Dovetail partnered with Foison Mills and REPREVE® to engineer HOTSWAP™ thermal denim from scratch. The revolutionary fabric integrates REPREVE’s TruTemp365® fibers into a brushed fleece interior that creates an insulating microclimate against the skin. The signature orange fibers visible on the interior of HOTSWAP™ styles serve as a mark of the advanced thermal technology within. The collection underwent rigorous real-world testing by women working at McMurdo Station in Antarctica—one of the world’s most demanding work environments. This extreme field testing informed final adjustments to achieve the optimal balance of stretch, warmth, and mobility.
