Burton is proud to welcome professional snowboarder Zeb Powell to its softgoods team with a limited-run, rider-driven capsule that is as much about culture as it is about gear. Known for limitless creativity, boundary-pushing style, and pure athleticism across rail, park, and knuckle-huck terrain, Zeb is also a community builder, leading events like Slide n Tour and Culture Shifters that bring riders together. Rooted in Burton’s commitment to design shaped by riders, the Burton Inspired By Zeb collection is straight from Zeb’s vision—gear designed for how he rides, reps his crew, and pushes snowboarding forward. The first streetwear drop lands exclusively at Burton’s Burlington, New York City, and Santa Monica Flagship stores this month, with more planned for 2026 and 2027.
Not a Fit Check—A Whole New Lane
This is more than a line—it’s an invitation into Zeb’s frequency, a space where creativity, chaos, and connection collide. Born from Zeb, backed by Burton, and powered by the people it inspires, it channels his vision into our softgoods collection. A generational superstar and culture shifter, Zeb rides loud, loose, and unapologetically himself. He’s also a voice for inclusion, bringing more BIPOC riders into snowboarding through outreach, representation, and community.
The limited-edition softgoods line reflects all of that energy: oversized fits with freedom to move, pieces that hit just as hard in the streets as they do on the hill, and electric graphics that carry his crew and his story. Every piece will be authentic to Zeb—inspired by him and crafted by Burton for riders who see snowboarding not just as a sport, but as style, culture, and self-expression all at once.
“We’re making the gear I want to ride in, stuff that reps me, my crew, and how we move,” said Zeb Powell. “It’s about bringing snowboarding to new spaces, new people, and new energy. Burton gave me the freedom to do that, and I’m hyped for what’s next.”
From Crew to Capsule
Zeb doesn’t just ride with style, he rides with an energy you can feel. It’s magnetic, pulling in friends, fans, and the culture. The multi-year partnership unfolds through a series of drops that tap into that vibe and channels it into the product and story around it:
- October 2025: Burton Inspired By Zeb Basics Capsule. Z Tee $65, Z Hoodie $100. Limited-edition, small-batch, exclusive to Burlington, New York City, and Santa Monica Flagship stores and is expected to sell out quickly.
- Fall 2026: First full collection launches.
- Winter 2027: New limited-edition snowboard and tee drop.
Next in Line at the BMV: A Video Skit Featuring Zeb and Selema Masekela
To celebrate the capsule collection, Burton and Zeb shot a skit titled BMV, a playful twist on the DMV experience, and the offbeat shenanigans that snowboarding can bring to the waiting room. With colorful characters, creative twists and unexpected humor – BMV also features a cameo appearance by ESPN Sports Commentator and activist, Selema Masekela, a long-time collaborator and game-changer in his own right. Together, Zeb and Selema embody the next chapter of snowboarding with new narratives and most of all, fun for the future generation. Check out the video here.
