Teton, the Utah-based outdoor company renowned for comfortable, dependable products that are easy to set up and easy on the wallet, today announced the formation of a new brand and product development leadership team with a strategic promotion and two new hires. This comes at a pivotal moment as the company expands its market presence and strengthens its connection with outdoor enthusiasts and new adventurers alike worldwide.
“This strategic shift represents our commitment to elevating our brand while staying true to our mission of making the outdoors comfortable,” said Scott Holmes, CEO of Teton. “This team brings a powerful combination of vision, industry expertise and creative excellence that will help us connect with all adventurers. From day one, we have focused on sharing an authentic story and we look forward to amplifying that narrative through compelling creative that connects with both seasoned outdoorsmen as well as those just beginning their journey.”
Jeremy McLerran’s role at Teton has expanded as Vice President of Brand, where he will oversee product development and brand strategy. McLerran has extensive senior marketing leadership experience, with more than 20 years of experience in the technology space, having led global marketing efforts at Johnson Controls and directed marketing strategies for Qolsys Inc. prior to joining Teton in 2024.
Chris Braun brings more than 12 years of experience in brand building, creative strategy and multimedia storytelling as Teton’s new Creative Director. His portfolio includes serving as brand director for national events such as the Portland Marathon, Las Vegas Marathon and Mesa Marathon, as well as producing content for BYUtv’s “Relative Race.” His expertise spans video production, brand identity development and multi-channel marketing campaigns.
As marketing director, Beau Freeman possesses digital marketing expertise and a deep understanding of consumer engagement strategies. He holds an MBA from Utah Valley University and has experience in both retail management and digital marketing, positioning him to drive Teton’s multi-channel marketing initiatives forward.
“Teton has always been about helping people from all backgrounds and experience levels enjoy the outdoors,” said Jeremy McLerran, Vice President of Brand. “With this new team structure, we can better articulate that mission while developing products and experiences that resonate with our growing community. Leading these efforts is the continued fulfillment of a lifelong dream to make the outdoors more comfortable, which will lead to more frequent adventures and all the wellness benefits that the outdoors can bring.”
The team will focus on several key initiatives including refreshing the brand’s visual identity, expanding digital marketing capabilities, enhancing product storytelling and strengthening retail partnerships. These efforts will build on Teton’s 20-year legacy of providing comfortable, dependable and easy-to-use outdoor gear designed and tested in the Rocky Mountains and guided from their headquarters at the foot of the Wasatch Mountains.
