Recognized as a world-renowned marine wildlife artist, scientist, diver, angler, conservationist and explorer whose life and work have been shaped by a deep connection to the ocean, Dr. Guy Harvey will host and narrate Sport Fishing Television’s (SFTV) 2026-2027 season.
Celebrating its 25th year, SFTV presents cinematic portraits of fishing destinations around the world and the people whose lives connect to them. For the 2026-2027 season, SFTV has traveled to locations around the U.S. and beyond including the Florida Keys, Nantucket, Charleston, Ocean City, MD, Panama and Grand Cayman. The new season will premiere the first week of October and air on Outdoor America and Field & Stream TV as well as Sport Fishing Television’s YouTube channel. The Guy Harvey brand is also the exclusive apparel sponsor for the show’s on-air talent.
“We have had a longstanding relationship with Guy, that began when we were producing his television series, ‘Portraits from the Deep,'” said Shawn Bean, writer-director of SFTV and editor of Dr. Harvey’s two most recent books, Guy Harvey’s Underwater World and 10,000 Chicken Sandwiches. “Not only will Guy narrate SFTV, we are integrating him into the episodes in some new and interesting ways. I think we’re onto something special this season.”
For more than 40 years, Dr. Harvey has traveled the world studying, fishing, diving and documenting marine animals and ecosystems. Those experiences have fueled both his acclaimed artwork and his scientific pursuits, giving his work a unique authenticity and perspective.
