ALOHA Collection, the original Splash-Proof® bag brand, introduces Hello Kitty® and Friends x ALOHA Collection, a special edition collection created in collaboration with Sanrio®. Building on the brand’s debut Hello Kitty® collaboration in 2025, the collection brings Hello Kitty®, Cinnamoroll™, Pompompurin™ and My Melody™ together in original, island inspired artwork across ALOHA Collection’s signature Splash-Proof® and Keep It Light Nylon® silhouettes.
Demand arrived well ahead of launch, with more than 12,000 shoppers joining the waitlist before the collection went live. In Honolulu, lines wrapped around ALOHA Collection’s Ala Moana Center store for the launch event.
“Last year’s Hello Kitty® launch showed us how much this community loves her, so this time we brought her friends along,” said Courtney Konzelman, VP of Marketing at ALOHA Collection. “Seeing Hello Kitty®, Cinnamoroll™, Pompompurin™ and My Melody™ together on our Splash-Proof® bags has been a dream for our team, and the response from our fanbase has been incredible.”
New this year is the Mystery Tiny Tripper Box ($24), ALOHA Collection’s first blind box. Each box holds one surprise Tiny Tripper bag charm, with six designs to collect and a chance at the super rare Metallic Rosey Hello Kitty® Face. The collectible format gives fans a new way to shop ALOHA Collection.
By midday, all Mystery Tiny Tripper Boxes had sold out online, while more than 10 additional styles were nearing sellout. The boxes remain available at participating ALOHA Collection retail stores while supplies last.
“We knew the blind box would resonate, but selling out online on launch day exceeded every expectation,” said Konzelman.
SUN KISSED: EXCLUSIVE TO HAWAIʻI
The Hawaiʻi exclusive Sun Kissed capsule features Hello Kitty® and Friends in Sun Kissed character prints. Its Sun Kissed Mystery Tiny Tripper Box includes collectible charms such as Musubi Hello Kitty®, Pompompurin™ Slippas and My Melody™ Lei, plus a chance at the super rare Hello Kitty® Face in Tahitian Pearl. The Sun Kissed Mystery Tiny Tripper Box and the Sun Kissed Bubbles Stubby Duffle sold out online on launch day and remain available in ALOHA Collection’s Hawaiʻi stores while supplies last.
Hello Kitty® and Friends x ALOHA Collection ranges from $24 to $92 and is available at aloha-collection.com and ALOHA Collection retail stores, excluding Disney Springs. Sun Kissed styles are available in Hawaiʻi stores and ship to Hawaiʻi addresses only. The collection is a special edition, with no immediate plans to restock.
