Manufacturing Sales Representative – Board Budder

Job Description

Board Budder is a rider-built, science-backed company redefining what performance means in winter sports. From our workshop in Salt Lake City, we craft high-performance, natural-based ski and snowboard wax that rides cleaner, faster, and without petroleum.

We’re in a new era of growth — expanding rapidly across retail, wholesale, and tune shops. Every bar of wax we make represents more than just glide; it’s proof that sustainability and performance can coexist side by side.

The Role

We’re looking for a Manufacturing Sales Representative to help bring Board Budder to ski shops, resorts, and tuning operations across the country.

You’ll work directly with our co-founders to grow our wholesale presence, open new retail accounts, and strengthen relationships with existing partners. This is a high-impact role where your effort directly translates into company growth — and your compensation reflects that.

This is primarily a phone- and email-based sales position, focused on outbound prospecting, relationship building, and account management with ski and snowboard shops nationwide. You’ll play a key role in shaping how our product reaches riders across North America.

What You’ll Do

Sales & Outreach
  • Identify and contact potential retail partners, ski shops, resorts, and tuning operations across the U.S.
  • Manage high-volume outreach through calls, emails, and follow-ups to build strong sales pipelines.
  • Educate shop buyers and managers about the benefits of Board Budder’s performance wax.
  • Work directly with leadership to refine messaging, promotions, and outreach strategies.
  • Track leads and manage opportunities using HubSpot CRM.
Account Growth
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing accounts to increase reorders and product visibility.
  • Support wholesale partners with merchandising ideas, training, and in-store marketing tools.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing and fulfillment teams to ensure timely order delivery.
Operations Collaboration
  • Work closely with the manufacturing team to align production capacity with sales forecasts.
  • Provide feedback on inventory levels, product performance, and regional trends.
  • Help forecast demand and plan for seasonal peaks in the winter sports calendar.
Who You Are
  • You have sales experience — ideally in wholesale, retail partnerships, or outdoor industry distribution.
  • You’re comfortable on the phone and thrive on creating new connections daily.
  • You’re organized, self-driven, and motivated by performance-based rewards.
  • You’re entrepreneurial and excited by the idea of working directly with founders at a fast-growing outdoor brand.
  • You love the snow industry and care about products that perform and protect the places we ride.
Why Join Board Budder
  • You’ll work directly with the founders and have a voice in shaping our national sales expansion.
  • You’ll be part of a small, passionate team building something real in the snow industry.
  • You’ll represent a sustainable, high-performance product that riders genuinely love.
  • You’ll grow with a brand that’s scaling fast and staying authentic.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base Salary: $50,000
  • Performance Bonus: Up to $50,000 annually (based on production and operational performance)
  • Total Potential Compensation: Up to $100,000 annually
  • Benefits: Health insurance available after one year of employment
  • Perks: Product credits, testing days on mountain, and future equity consideration
