Looking for fashion clues at Urban Outfitters

<p>Urban Outfitters stores are doing better than most in this environment, so I decided to dig a little deeper to find clues about what is working for them that other retailers could use.</p> <p>After reading a transcript of Urban Outfitters recent conference call, I drove to an Urban Outfitters to study the sales floor. CEO Glen Senk is very cryptic on earnings conference calls about the styles that are doing well, because he doesn't want to tip off competitors. But he gave some hints about what to look for.</p>
