Chick's Sporting Goods was a large and important customer for the action sports industry. The 15-store chain carried a wide selection of action sports brands ranging from Quiksilver to Ezekiel and prominently displayed the brands front and center in its stores, with the men's and junior's sections adjacent to each other. Chick's gave the "beach lifestyle" a huge chunk of floor space.
