<p>Tyler LaMotte, Adidas Skateboarding Business Unit Director, talks about Adidas' strategy for the skate market, digging in the archives, and expanding into apparel.</p> <h2>Sales</h2> <p>Sales are up. We're a brand still perceived in its infancy so we're not in all the shops we could be in. Our distribution is really focused, our range is small, and we are targeting the highest-end skate specialty retail. In this economy, they say specialty retail is less impacted than more mall based retailers, so that's why we're doing so well.</p>
