The outdoor industry is always coming up with new gear, and this week is no exception. Here’s some product news from Stio, Jetty, Gazelle Bikes, Urban Arrow, and Altra.
Stio
Stio, the mountain lifestyle brand headquartered in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, announced the launch of its Fall/Winter 2024-25 Collection, featuring a versatile range of outerwear, layers, accessories, and footwear that provide performance and comfort. Key styles include:
- The all-new Credential Collection features Stio’s PeakProof 3L Warm technology, which combines a soft, brushed interior with a waterproof/breathable outer for optimal warmth and weather protection. The line offers ease of movement with a host of on-mountain features including a front storm flap, adjustable storm hood, RFID pass pocket, two-way zippers, strategic vents and more. Available in a jacket and pant style in both men’s and women’s.
- The new Colter Waterproof Tall Boot offers winter-rated warmth and waterproofing in an incredibly lightweight, sleek design. Equipped with a fully waterproof membrane, the boot is crafted with a premium, weather-resistant nubuck upper and suede overlays to withstand slush, snow, and cold. The proprietary Flex GussetTM ensures easy on/off transitions, while the treaded outsole delivers top-tier traction on slick surfaces. A bio-based midsole adds comfort while reducing the boot’s environmental impact. Available in both men’s and women’s.
- The Colter Mountain Slip blends the coziness of a puffy with the plushness of a slipper and the traction of a winter boot. Lightly insulated, the slip’s interior features a fleece lining and extra cushioned footbed. A quilted upper resists light precip for venturing out, while the fold-down heel easily switches in and out of slipper mode. The soft EVA foam midsole adds cushioning, while traction rubber built into the outsole grips slick surfaces and adds durability. Abrasion-resistant fabric on the heel and toe cap minimizes wear and tear. Available in both men’s and women’s.
- Stio’s new Glide Power StretchTM Collection is a four-season layering essential, for everything from high-intensity outings to more casual pursuits. Polartec® Power StretchTM balances wicking, breathability and warmth, stretches as you move and transitions between epic mountain moments and everyday motions. Available in a variety of styles including a hoodie, half-zip, and pant in both men’s and women’s.

Gazelle Bikes
Gazelle Bikes is launching three new accessible, affordable models for fall: Medeo T9 City, Medeo T9 and Ultimate C8. Each new model is built at Gazelle’s Netherlands factory and equipped with the safety and quality assurance of Bosch eBike Systems.
As the best-selling Gazelle models, the Medeo T9 City and Medeo T9 are the most affordable Bosch Smart System mid-drive bikes in North America, priced at $2,299 and $2,599, respectively. Gazelle’s engineering team focused on four significant improvements:
● True Step-Through Design: A re-engineered frame with improved stiffness and stability makes it easier to step on and off.
● First-Ever Bike for Small Riders: Debuting the first bike made for riders from 5 feet tall, the new extra small (size 40) size option makes riding accessible to those with a smaller stature.
● Smaller Wheels + Wider Tires: All sizes now feature smaller 27.5″ wheels and wider tires for better handling and steering, even on off-road terrain.
● Improved Balance and Stability: An on-tube battery placement lowers the center of gravity, enhancing balance and stability. This design also frees up space on the rear rack, allowing for a heavier-duty rack and a larger battery on the T9 model.
Both Medeo bikes are designed for first-time ebike buyers, offering the cutting-edge Bosch technology of the Active Line and Active Line Plus Smart System platforms. The Medeo T9 City is available only in low-step, equipped with a 400 Wh on downtube battery, and is offered in two colors: Caramel Khaki Gloss and Thyme Green Gloss. The Medeo T9 is specced with the Active Line Plus motor with 50 Nm of torque and a 545 Wh battery on downtube.
The Medeo T9 low-step is available in Ink Blue Gloss and Champion Red Gloss, while the high-step is offered in Thunder Grey Gloss.
The award-winning Ultimate platform receives an update with the new Gazelle Ultimate C8, priced at $3,999. This model enhances the bestselling range of Gazelle Ultimate electric bikes by integrating the Active Line Plus version of the Bosch Smart System. Equipped with 50 Nm of torque and integrated with the Bosch Smart System, the Ultimate C8 provides an intuitive riding experience, greater power delivery, and an extended range of up to 90 miles in Eco mode. The Nexus hub and the Gates belt drive ensure the bike requires very little maintenance.
The Medeo T9 City, Medeo T9 and Ultimate C8 will begin arriving this month and will be available for purchase via Gazelle’s network of authorized dealers across the U.S. and Canada. For more information, visit www.gazellebikes.com/en-us.
Urban Arrow
Urban Arrow introduces an update to its Family Line of electric cargo bikes. The Urban Arrow Family Performance and Cargo Line bikes are upgrading to the Bosch Smart System. The advanced connectivity and performance optimization mean safer, more efficient rides with customizable ride modes to match various conditions. Real-time data and seamless smartphone integration help ensure the bike is always in top condition and ready for any family adventure.
Potential customers often express a fear of theft when considering cargo bikes. In response, Urban Arrow is equipping its Cargo Line with a Bosch Connect Module and offering a free subscription for the first year (subsequently $59.99 per year). This free upgrade includes the installation of an anti-theft module. Integrated into the motor, this module features motion sensors that trigger a loud alarm and send a phone notification if tampered with. It also allows for remote motor locking, GPS tracking, and automated theft reporting to the police.
What makes Urban Arrow’s bikes different from most U.S. competitors is its front loader design, which places precious cargo in front for easy and safer interactions. It features a three-point seatbelt and the EPP box (more like a large inverted helmet) to keep the smallest passengers safe. The lower center of gravity offers riders a more stable riding experience.
The renewed Family Line comes in two variants: the Performance Line (MSRP $6,999) and the Cargo Line (MSRP $7,999).
The updated Urban Arrow Family Cargo Line electric bikes are shipping to its network of certified retailers now. For more information and to find a retailer, visit urbanarrow.com.
