First, my photographer friend Ryan Baker, 15, sent me some photos of the Boost Mobile Pro presented by Hurley over the weekend. Scroll down to see more of Ryan’s photos. He’s a sophomore at San Clemente High School.
O’Quinn, an upscale surf line in Huntington Beach, is having a fashion show in LA Thursday with Fred Segal, Malibu magazine and others (click read more for details). I’m still marveling at the O’Quinn chenille ponchos/sweaters partners Dean Quinn and Dale Rhodes showed me at ASR. Very nice.
Marisa Mudge from the Newport Beach chapter of the Surfrider Foundation sent me details about a Newport Beach Brewing Co. golf tournament benefitting Surfrider. The tournament is at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 22 at Los Lagos Golf Course in Costa Mesa. The cost is $80 per person. Call Newport Beach Brewing Co. at 949-675-8449 with questions and an application.
