I had a special correspondent at the Surfer Poll awards this week at The Grove in Anaheim - Ryan Baker, 15, a sophomore at San Clemente High School.

The annual Surfer Poll awards honor the top surfers of the year in several categories and are a big industry party.

San Clemente's Miller sisters Right, the Miller sisters. Their brother, Jason is a semi pro surfer. The family is hosting Kelly Slater at their house this week, Ryan reports.

A big crowd turned out for the event at The Grove in Anaheim.

Warren and Rem Kramer Dr. Warren Kramer and son, Ren. Ryan reports Dr. Kramer treats many professional surfers. Kolohe, Warren and Ren all live in San Clemente.
