In honor of Friday, we asked Lost Clothing President Tim Garrett about his favorite Orange County restaurants.
Tim moved to Lost early this year from his job as vice president of marketing for O’Neill Clothing. Both clothing brands are managed by the La Jolla Group in Irvine.
Here are Tim’s restaurant picks:
“The two restaurants that I hit most are both in San Clemente — Gordon James Grill on El Camino Real and Avila’s El Ranchito on Avenida Del Mar.
Gordon James is a little more upscale, but still very comfortable for either a date with my beautiful wife, Marlo, or with the entire family. The food is outstanding and the service and friendliness matches. It also has a great bar.
El Ranchito’s has a great, fun atmosphere. I love Mexican food and they have some of the best, but it’s the margaritas and my favorite surf videos that set the tone. Again, with my wife or the family it works anytime.”
