The event is from 4 to 8 p.m. in the SeaBar at the Mondrian Hotel, 8440 Sunset Blvd., West Hollywood.

Sabre update

Costa Mesa based sunglass company Sabre Vision emailed in a company update last week. Founder Brooke McGregor says Sabre scored an order from Zumiez for 25 doors with the sunglasses hitting stores in mid-November (I have an email into Zumiez about this but haven’t heard back).

Australian retailers have also stocked up on the brand leading into summer there, with a key account, Surf Dive ‘N’ Ski leading the way. In Asia, fashion boutique Beams will expand the number of doors that carry the line, McGregor said. Sabre launched in December last year so McGregor is pretty excited about the orders.
