Women’s Wear Daily ran a story yesterday about model Erin Wasson and RVCA.
According to WWD, Wasson has signed a three-year contract to design Erin Wasson for RVCA, a contemporary collection that will debut in the spring.
The line includes low-cut tank tops, short-and-frayed denim cutoffs, a wool miniskirt and a silk button down with tiny thunderbolts. The tanks retail for $55 and the denim shorts, $230.
In the story, Wasson, who describes her fashion aesthetic as “tomboy chic,” says she buys clothes in the men’s section of skate shops because most surf and skate companies make clothing with too much pink and blues.
