Here are some details about two upcoming events. One is the BRA Retail Survivor Series at Surf Expo in August, the other the Action Sports Conference being put on by group Y and ESPN next Thursday in conjunction with the X Games.
Retail Survivor Series
The event is Aug. 19 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, one day prior to the opening of Surf Expo.
The primary purpose of the Retail Survivor Series is to educate specialty retailers and provide the tools necessary to continue to survive the market and increase profitability. The Retail Survivor Series is an eight track program with the first two tracks running simultaneously in August:
Course I – Merchandising
Includes analytical trends, pricing and promotion, OTB, inventory budgeting and control, cash flow structuring and private label production.*
Course II – Digital Retailing
Includes online retailing, driving web traffic, web analytics, social marketing and targeting the youth market.*
