Quiksilver started its 40th anniversary celebration with a bang this weekend with the two-day Tony Hawk show featuring skateboarding, art, fashion and music at the Grand Palais in Paris.
Quiksilver brought in more than 30 of its sponsored athletes for the event.
There were big crowds for the Tony Hawk signing at the Quiksilver store in Paris and the finale on Saturday night included skateboarding by Tony Hawk and friends, a concert with Dead By Sunrise and a late night with DJ Mix Master Mike.
A Quiksilver representative told me there are no current plans for a 40th party in the U.S., but that could change in the future.
Quiksilver provided images of the event, which we put into a slide show for easier viewing.
