Zumiez stock up, retailers report better than expected sales

Gap: up 2%, with Old Navy the best performer

Department stores

Macy’s: up 1% – Bloomingdale’s had a strong month

Nordstrom: up 7.4%

JC Penney: down 3.8%

Kohl’s: up 4.7%

Big Box

Target: up 1.8%
