Huntington Beach, Ca June 22nd, 2010– The Shorebreak Hotel will have a summer of waves, point break destinations and big wave stories of surf in the summer program of Shorebreak Surf Cinema. Screening on The Deck or Epic Ballroom are some of the newest surf films out in the market today.
With major award winning films, new stories of surf and the top riders on the tour all making appearances on the big screen, surf cinema is back in Huntington Beach.
The Shorebreak Hotel is the newest surf themed hotel in Orange County that is wowing the locals. With classic surf artwork, beautiful wave photography and the best location right across from ground zero the Huntington Beach Pier on Pacific Coast Hwy, this hotel has it all for waves, and relaxation.
The Deck is the outdoor patio which has cool fire pits, sand boxes and an easy laidback feeling, while inside is the EPIC Ballroom where films and special guests will be on hand to highlight the great films that will be coming to Shorebreak Surf Cinema. There will also be fun giveaways and drawing during the night.
Taking place on most Tuesday nights, tickets are only a bargain of $5. Doors open at 7 pm with films starting from 7:30 to 8 pm. The Shorebreak is located at 500 Pacific Coast Hwy, HB, Ca.
Food and drinks will be available during the evening.
Some of the films set to screen are: Sea Of Darkness by Michael Oblowitz June 29th, The Westsiders by Josh Polmer July 6th, Cancer To Capricorn and Gum For My Boat by Russell Brownely July 27th, Fiberglass and Megapixels by Derek and Craig Hoffman August 10th, An Evening With Timmy Turner August 24th.
All directors will be on hand and other special guest. Other dates and films to be determined
