TheFUZZ AND THE SLAM LAUNCH AT THE LIBERTINE ON SUNSET: SLAMMIN PT. 2 (THE SWANKY HOLLYWOOD VERSION)
(LOS ANGELES, CA; August 10th, 2010 ) theFUZZ, a merchandising and fine art brand, will launch in partnership with The Slam on Saturday September 11th, 2010 from 6PM to 10PM at The Libertine (8210 Sunset Blvd. West Hollywood, CA 90046).
theFUZZ will debut its collection of street inspired pop art, accompanied by Chris Eggers’ commemorative 9/11 spoken word performance and musical headliners, The Black Diamond Riders.

Through our support of The Slam, a portion of event proceeds will support scholarships for battered women and children.
In the wake of The Slam’s industry-reckoning skate competition at The Volcom Skate Park in Costa Mesa, we look forward to co-brand an art and live music event at The Libertine.

For its initial launch event in Los Angeles, theFUZZ is presenting artist Jeff Middlemiss and his original mixed media on canvas, original and shadow box framed Shortomatic board-short design, and original Madrid Skateboard deck design.
Rock and Punk Rock musical acts Cat Party and TORA TORA TORA will open for The Black Diamond Riders. In commemoration of 9/11, Chris Egger will perform spoken word. All visual art on display will be available for purchase by event attendees and on theFUZZ website, www.thefuzzco.com.
The Slam’s annual competition benefits the De La Libertad Scholarship Fund that awards 2-and 4-year scholarships to women and children who are victims of domestic abuse.
