Press Release:
LOS ANGELES (November 22, 2010) – Since 2003, The AGENDA trade show has catapulted on the street and actionsports trade show circuit. Entering its eighth year, AGENDA is ditching the boy’s club stereotype and sending an open invitation to the impressive array of women’s contemporary labels nestled within this industry.
“Women are a playing a huge part in the street and actionsports circuit,” said Aaron Levant, AGENDA President. “Up until now, the AGENDA women’s division has been a result of our men’s brands that just happen to offer a women’s category, but there are so many dynamic women’s labels and divisions that are key to this industry. So, we are actively growing our women’s brands. Not only does this help AGENDA clearly reflect what is going on in the marketplace, it provides buyers and press a one-stop-shop for both men and women.”
With more than 200 brands showing this January, nearly fifty percent are expected to be specifically women’s brands or offer a women’s category, such as: OBEY, RVCA, Insight, Quiksilver Girls, O’Neill Girls, Native and Vans to name a few.
AGENDA will be taking place January 6th and 7th, 2010, in their new, larger, Anaheim location, situated at Anaheim Marriot, 700 W. Convention Way.
