The IASC Skateboarding Summit is taking place April 26-27, 2011 at The Doubletree Hotel in the city of Orange, California. This year IASC has teamed up with the Board Retailers Association to bring together manufacturers and retailers in education and camaraderie.

IASC Skateboarding Summit 2011

 

The IASC Skateboarding Summit is taking place April 26-27, 2011 at The Doubletree Hotel in the city of Orange, California. This year IASC has teamed up with the Board Retailers Association to bring together manufacturers and retailers in education and camaraderie.

The Summit will bring intensive, interactive workshops, inspiring speakers, educational panels, and most importantly- time to skateboard at the Vans Skatepark at the Block. The goal of this summit is to bring together the leaders in skateboarding to focus on innovation in the industry, the future of their business, and skateboarding as a whole.

11:45 a.m. Growing Participation: There are multiple approaches to getting more people involved in skateboarding. This panel discussion will highlight those who are moving the needle as they share their perspective on how to grow and sustain participation.
