Southern California’s Premier Motocross Race Track to Host Lifestyle Event Featuring Moto and BMX Action Sport Demos, Pro Athlete and Spokesmodel Signings, Tattoo Art Show and Top Apparel Brands

Pala, CA (April 22, 2011) – Pala Raceway and The Sullen Angels will join together on Tuesday May 3, 2011 to host the lifestyle industry’s “Red Cross Tsunami Relief Benefit & Blood Drive.” The event will run from 12 pm to 7 pm at Southern California’s premier motocross facility, featuring demonstrations from top Moto and BMX athletes, a lifestyle festival of art, music and fashion exhibits, and open ride sessions for the public, with all entry fees from event going to the Red Cross Tsunami Relief Fund.

“Pala Raceway is pleased to be part of the Tsunami Relief Fund Benefit and Blood Drive,” said Kirk Chandler, vice president, Pala Raceway. “When the Sullen Angels approached us with the idea for this effort, we were quick to add our support. The Motocross industry as a whole is very reliant on Japanese involvement and we look to be able to contribute to the people affected by this tragedy.”

The Sullen Angels, co-organizers of the event, are the models selected to represent Sullen Clothing. The international underground apparel line, founded in 2001 in Huntington, CA has become a staple brand integrating all aspects of the So Cal lifestyle and defined by TRUE ART.

Sullen introduced The Sullen Angels in 2009, a group of the most beautiful, intelligent, sexy and slightly edgy girls. The Angels have built their reputation on their ability to captivate the public with their events ranging from model searches, hosting, & even their individual outreaches within the community.

According to the Director of Models for the Sullen Angels, Ms. Camielle Winans “The Sullen Angels are a group of beautiful, talented, motivated and, most importantly, compassionate women who want to use their profile to give back to the lifestyle community they are part of. Now that we have really made an impression on the community, I felt that the girls should come together and do an outreach event- they do so much individually, but as a group the impact could be so much greater. After Japan was hit, I received a phone call from one of my models, Pamela Jean Noble, asking if we should do something to help those now in such desperate need and I could not have been more supportive of the suggestion.”

The American National Red Cross will also be on hand providing eligible guests the opportunity to donate blood as opposed to paying an entry donation for the event. Personnel will be on hand for the Blood Drive from 12 pm to 5 pm throughout the event.

The entry donation will be a suggested minimum of $5, with $25 ride session fees for the public wishing to use the Pala Raceway tracks that day that will be 100 percent donated to the Tsunami Relief Fund.
