AGENDA TRADE SHOW EXPANDS TO LARGEST VENUE TO DATE

Longboard Skate and BMX Added to Show

Los Angeles (Nov. 2011) – The AGENDA Trade Show launches its largest show ever Jan. 5-6 in Long Beach, Calif., at the Long Beach Convention Center. The new location will double the amount of exhibitor space and exhibitors to be featured at the show.

The AGENDA Long Beach show expects to surpass 10,000 attendees, potentially reaching 14,000, in a showroom of nearly a quarter-million square feet, making this show a milestone since its launch in 2003. It will feature more than 500 brands, including OBEY, Patagonia, Vans, LRG, RVCA, Hurley, Levi’s, Supra, The Herschel Supply Co., DC Shoes, The Hundreds and G-Shock.

The most significant addition to AGENDA Long Beach is the introduction of longboard, skateboard and BMX segments. The BMX portion of the show will feature four top brands, paving way for a larger presence in the future. Each BMX brand invited will be working on an exciting collaboration with AGENDA, which will be debuted at the show. Among these brands are The Shadow Conspiracy and Animal Bikes.

“This longboard skate hardgoods segment will not be separately branded inside the show, but mixed in with the other core action sports products,” says AGENDA founder Aaron Levant. “This new segment will also be completely separate from ‘The Berrics Agenda’ show segment that focuses on only core street skate brands.”

In addition to the longboard skate and BMX segments, the Snow segment will return for its second year, featuring brands like 686, Arbor, Bonfire, Holden, SPY+, Vans Snow, Smith, Mervin Mfg, Roxy Snow and Quiksilver Snow.

AGENDA’s independent brand section, Primer, will also return after being put on hiatus last show. It will showcase more than 50 start-up and graphic tee brands on the main floor of AGENDA, increasing the exposure for these brands.

The show will also feature a greater women’s apparel presence including such brands as Hurley, QSW, Volcom, O’Neill, Insight, Roxy, RVCA, OBEY, Vans, Reef, and Black Sheep by …Lost.
