SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, Calif. – December 7, 2011 – Interbike announced today that Show Director Andy Tompkins would be leaving the company at the end of the month to pursue other professional opportunities.
Tompkins is moving on following 15 years of service with Interbike’s parent company, Nielsen, including four years as the show director of the bicycle industry show and the fitness industry’s Health+Fitness Business Expo. “After a long and rewarding tenure with Nielsen, I’m excited to embark on my next challenge,” said Tompkins. “With a successful 2011 show behind us and now with Pat and the new team in place, I feel confident that I’m leaving Interbike and HFB in a great place and in very good hands.”
Tompkins will be assisting with the transition through December 30.
