As 2011 comes to a close, we take a look back at the 50 most viewed stories on Shop-eat-surf during the year.

 

The industry kept us busy in 2011 with major stories such as French luxury company PPR buying Volcom. I still vividly remember that morning in early May when the deal was announced – I almost fell off my chair.

 

Other popular stories included Sole Technology putting its éS brand on hiatus, Nike deciding to embrace the swoosh and end Nike 6.0 and lots of executive changes at several companies.
