TransWorld Motocross Acquires X Racing Series, Renamed Muscle Milk
TWMX Race Series For 2012 And Beyond
Carlsbad, CA – TransWorld Motocross is proud to announce the acquisition of the (Vet) X Racing Series. The newly titled Muscle Milk TWMX Race Series will be divided over the course of a year into four separate series– Winter Cup, Spring Cup, Summer Cup, and Fall Cup. Each series will be comprised of six races and held at some of the best tracks in Southern California.
The gate drops on the first of the four series– Muscle Milk TWMX Winter Cup– January 8, 2012 at Perris Raceway in Southern California. These races will accommodate riders of all ages and ranges of experience. Race classes include: PeeWees, Minis, 250s, 450s, Girls/Women, 25+ and Vets.
In conjunction with this acquisition, X Racing founder Craig Davis will assume the role of Race Director for the Muscle Milk TWMX Race Series. “I am ecstatic to continue to be a part of this series as it moves over into the hands of TransWorld Motocross and continues to grow,” said Davis. As Race Director, Davis will be reporting directly to TransWorld Media’s VP of Sales & Marketing Marc Fiore.
Fiore commented, “TransWorld Motocross has had the opportunity to work with Craig at our TW SLAM and Industry Cup events and it is obvious he is one of the best in the business. It’s apparent we share the same views about racing, and it’s a great extension for TransWorld Motocross.”
Supporting the launch of this new series, Muscle Milk, the leading protein-enhanced beverage, has signed a multi-year agreement as the title sponsor of the Muscle Milk TWMX Race Series. “Being the headlining sponsor of the series is a great fit for our brand,” said Muscle Milk’s Shane McCassy.

Sponsor prizes and trophies are given out during each race series to the top 10 riders in each class, in addition to pro paybacks, trophies for all minis beginners, lap time sheets, and OEM contingency offered at select rounds.
