REEF PROMOTES AND REORGANIZES MEN’S APPAREL STRUCTURE
(Carlsbad, CA) January 9th, 2012 – Reef is pleased to announce the promotion of Eric Gigler to Design and Merchandising Director as Greg Osthus transitions to the newly added role of Director of Sales, Apparel. The strategic changes are intended to position the growing men’s apparel line for continued success and provide additional focus and intensity on driving apparel sales in the U.S.
Eric Gigler (Gig) has spent the last two years as the Senior Designer for Men’s Apparel and has developed a specific design direction that truly captures the Reef DNA. Prior to Reef, Eric has held management positions both within Action Sports and Outdoor brands.
Reef president, Jeff Moore, states, “His leadership, energy, and expertise will be a great addition to the Reef Executive team.”
Greg Osthus (G.O.) has spent the last two years as the Director of Apparel, responsible for overseeing the strategic and merchandising direction of the Men’s Apparel category. In his newly added role, G.O. will manage Reef apparel sales for the U.S. domestic market.
Moore continued, “Greg’s energy, positive attitude and sales expertise will be a great addition to our sales organization.”
Prior to Reef, Greg held marketing, management and sales rep positions within Action Sports brands.
