Florianopolis, Brazil- Second only to the United States as the world’s largest surf and skate market, Brazil is finally set to host an International Action Sports Trade Show. In September 2012 Brazil Action Sports Show (B.A.S.S.) will be held in Floripa, the privileged capital of the State of Santa Catarina, affectionately referred to as the “California” of Brazil.
Known for its surf towns and youthful culture, Floripa is a summer destination 700km south of Sao Paolo. Boasting the largest economic cluster in the southern hemisphere, there are over forty astounding beaches, intense nightlife and many other options for sports ranging from skate parks to surfing, scuba diving to hang gliding and from wakeboarding to a locally invented sandboarding.
