Collier joins Tilly's board

In a recent filing, Tilly's stated it has added a new board member, one that has a lot of industry experience.

Former Volcom CFO Doug Collier has joined the Tilly’s board of directors.

 

Doug retired from Volcom in June 2011 just after PPR’s acquisition of Volcom closed. He worked at Volcom from 1994 to 2011 during the company’s rapid growth and public company phases.

 

Doug also sits on the Skullcandy board of directors, which he joined in July 2011.

 

According to Tilly’s, Doug became a Tilly’s director in September 2011. The company disclosed the news for the first time in its updated prospectus filed Friday.

 

Tilly’s, which operates approximately 140 stores, is in the process of becoming a publicly traded company.
