NSSL announces Tilly's as title sponsor

COSTA MESA, CA (March 15, 2012) – The National Scholastic Skateboarding League (NSSL) is pleased to announces that Tilly’s, a leading U.S. action sports retailer based out of Southern California, has stepped in as the official title sponsor for the league’s 2012-13 season.

There are only two contests left in the NSSL’s 2012 season. This Sunday, March 18, all of the schools will gather at Volcom’s Indoor skatepark in Costa Mesa for round 4. All junior high schools will compete from 9am to 1pm. High schools will skate from 1pm to 5pm. This contest will be the last chance for skaters to rack up points to qualify for finals at Van’s Skatepark in Orange on Wednesday, April 18th.

The National Scholastic Skateboarding League (NSSL) is a non-profit charitable organization founded in March 2010 as the Orange County Skateboarding League. In September 2011, the name was changed to the National Scholastic Skateboarding League and the addition of the San Diego Skateboarding League (SDSL) comprises its newest region. The NSSL supports high school and middle school teams, along with student skateboard programs and facility improvements.
