Rip Curl opening store in Laguna Beach

Rip Curl is opening a new store in Laguna Beach on Coast Highway, across the street from Laguna Surf and Sport and in the former space occupied by the Stand Up Paddle Company.

I asked Dylan Slater of Rip Curl for some more information, and he emailed me the following details.

“We are excited to open a store in Laguna Beach, a unique surfing community with a rich surfing tradition that has produced several great surfers. Laguna has that unique vibe and energy, which we feel will really be a complement when telling our Brand’s story.”

“The store is in an amazing location and will really serve our No. 1 objective when we open any Rip Curl retail store, which is to showcase the brand. We anticipate the store opening within the next two weeks, and once open, it will bring Rip Curl up to 12 flagship stores nationwide.”
