TransWorld Media Promotes Adam Cozens To Director Of Sales & Marketing
Carlsbad, CA — TransWorld Media is proud to announce the promotion of Adam Cozens to Director of Sales and Marketing. Cozens, who previously served as publisher for TransWorld’s SNOWboarding and Business titles, will now be responsible for developing, strategizing, directing, and overseeing the sales and marketing initiatives across all brands under the TransWorld Media umbrella.
“For eight years, Adam has been a good friend to me and a strategic thinker for many of TransWorld’s advertising media partners,” says Group Publisher Liam Ferguson.
“His leadership and vision led TransWorld SNOWboarding to become the first action sports title to produce a dynamic platform magazine app on the iPad. He has a keen sense for the new media landscape, a strong business acumen, and an incredible passion to help TransWorld remain the leader in action sports media.”
Cozens is an active surfer and a former competitive snowboarder. Raised in a family with deep action sports roots, Cozens first came to TransWorld Media in 2004 as an account manager with a bachelor’s degree from Cal State San Marcos.
Since then he has been promoted to sales manager, associate publisher, publisher, and now director. During his time as publisher for TransWorld SNOWboarding, Cozens has been a pioneer in the digital realm.
He’s grown TransWorld SNOWboarding’s digital revenues by double-digit percentages since 2008 and led the charge with new media, claiming the action sports industry’s first custom-platform digital iPad magazine app and setting the precedent for all other TransWorld Media brands.
Also under Cozens’ leadership, the popular amateur snowboarding series, TransWorld TransAM, has grown exponentially in popularity and revenue over the past 10 years and will be expanding from six to nine stops in 2013.
