Mike Carter and Electric Visual, the company he helped found, have parted ways.
Mike most recently served as VP of Global Branding since October 2011.
He had returned to Electric after working for Skullcandy as Vice President of Global Marketing for two years.
Electric Co-President Bruce Beach told me via email yesterday, “Electric and Mike have made a decision to part ways. The parting is on good terms and was announced internally on Friday. Electric wishes Mike all the best.”
Mike echoed that sentiment, saying via email, “We have made a mutual decision to part ways. Our parting is on good terms and we announced the decision internally on Friday.”
Electric was acquired by French luxury company PPR as part of the Volcom acquisition in 2011.
