DC Shoes Americas President Anton Nistl is headed to Hurley to take the role of GM North America.
Â
Anton has been president of DC since 2009.
Â
Prior to joining DC and Quiksilver, Anton was Senior Vice President of Sales at Vida Shoes International, a licensee of footwear brands including Baby Phat, Phat Farm, Pastry, Run Athletics, J-41, Esprit, Osh Kosh and Carters Kids. He previously held positions with Adidas, Fossil and Saucony, according to a Quiksilver press release at the time Anton was hired.
Â
Hurley has gone through several executive changes of late, and currently founder Bob Hurley is CEO and Roger Wyett, formerly CEO of Hurley, is in charge of Nike Affiliates.
Â
DC is in the midst of an aggressive, five-year growth plan that includes doubling the size of DC to about $1 billion in annual revenue. DC has been a major growth vehicle for parent company, Quiksilver.
Â
I hope to have more to come on this story.
