EuroSIMA Award winners named

We are catching up on this news from Europe, where the EuroSima Awards took place recently in Hossegor, France during the Waterman’s Ball.

Winners included:

Performance Award: Quiksilver, for its performance during the 2011/12 season

Ad Campaign of the Year: Nixon, for its “Archives” campaign

Innovation Award: Rip Curl, for its FlashBomb wetsuit

European Athlete of the Year: Antoine Delpero, for his performance on the longboard and stand up paddle world tours

Lifetime Achievement Award: Maurice Cole, for his help in the development of surfing and the boardsports industry in Europe.
