Flow Snowboarding is stepping up its roster of top level riders with the addition of Kotaro Kamimura for the 2013 season. Kotaro, who is the young age of 22 hails from Gifu, Japan and is an urban rider with a ton of raw talent. Marketing Director Dale Rehberg says, “Kotaro’s riding style and attitude are the perfect fit to Flow’s evolving Team. He is one of the smoothest urban riders we have seen and we can’t wait to see what he unleashes this winter.” Kotaro took home a silver medal with a respected second place finish at the USASA Rail Jam at the X-Games event that took place on January 27th, 2013 in Aspen Colorado with smooth style and perfect execusion. Kotaro is currently on the contest circuit looking to gain his spot on the Japanese Olympic team. Kotaro says “I am very happy to be on the Flow Global Team and I look forward to years ahead.” Kotaro joins the Flow Team with the likes of Scotty Lago, Tim Humphreys, Sarak Pancochova, Mike Basich, Nial Romanek and Scot Brown who all fly the Flow flag. With the addition of Kotaro to the Flow team, Flow now has a full roster of top talent in all aspects of snowboarding. Kotaro is also part of the “Stonp” crew who has been turing heads with their video edits for a few seasons now.
