Quiksilver executive Brian Bowen is leaving the company today.

Most recently Brian was the VP/GM of the Emerging Brands group. Brian has been working on winding down that business after Quiksilver decided earlier this year to focus on its three main brands.

Brian has worked at Quiksilver for eight years, and before moving to the Emerging Brands group he handled sales for key accounts.

“I can’t thank all the people involved enough for my experiences at Quiksilver, and for being exposed to running every aspect of the Emerging Brands Group,” he said. “I was so passionate about work everyday it didn’t really feel like work. I leave the company with so much appreciation and respect for everybody I’ve worked with and the close friendships I have developed.”

Quiksilver decided to shutter VSTR, return Summer Teeth to founder Dane Reynolds, and to keep the underwear brand Moscova running.
