I spoke with Quiksilver Americas President Rob Colby yesterday and he told me he has hired a new sales leader for the region who starts today.
Â
John Graham most recently worked at Easton Sports, and before that had a long career at Nike, including leading the sales effort for action sports.
Â
Rob shared with me the internal memo that was sent to employees yesterday.

Memo to Quiksilver staff from Rob Colby
Â
Hey everyone,
Â
I’m very excited to announce a new addition to our team in the Americas. Tomorrow, Wednesday, May 1st, John Graham is joining us as the SVP of Wholesale Sales for North America. In his new role, John will oversee wholesale sales for all three brands (and Moskova), in the US and Canada. John will report directly to me; John Mills, Deanna Jackson, and Jeff Fitzhugh will report to John.
Â

John brings tremendous breadth and depth of experience to his new role, having recently left his position as SVP Commerce, Easton Sports, a division of Easton Bell Sports, a leading manufacturer of sports equipment worldwide.
Â
Prior to Easton, John served in a variety of positions at Nike over a 20-year tenure. Particularly relevant to our business here at ZQK, John was the Commercial Director of Nike Action Sports, Director of Apparel Sales for North America, and Director of Sales for Canada.
Â
John will hit the ground running tomorrow, with a focus on strengthening our partnerships across brands with key retailers, and leveraging sales consistency and integration across Quik, DC & Roxy.
Â
John is an intelligent and approachable leader, and I’m looking forward to all of you getting to know him in the coming weeks and months.
Â
Thanks,
Â
Rob
